What is TEP?

TEP is a product used as a treatment for Ear Mite and its complications in dogs, cats and small animals.  It uses Mr Watchmans formula.

In the 1900s Mr. Watchman a veterinarian developed a product to counteract Canker.  This was a nasty condition of the ear canal rife within dogs, cats and small animals.

The complications of ear-mite (typically tissue damage, bacterial and yeast infections together with the irritant of the ear mite itself) still seem common today despite modern veterinary medicines.  Mr Watchman's formula has since undergone a rise in popularity.

Typical Symptoms of ear-mite Complications

The symptoms indicative of ear mite complications are typically:

  • rubbing head and ears on the floor
  • a dark brown crusty wax in the ears
  • a weeping discharge
  • sores and general inflammation of the ear

What does TEP do?

TEP contains a paracide for the Ear Mite. Its disinfectant and fungicidal properties work on the infections, the anti-irritant soothes the inflammation, giving the animal respite from the aggravating itch and soreness of the ears.  The damaged tissue can then begin to heal.
